From the lost chapter of Judges no doubt |
When Ulysses and Hercules find themselves trapped in the Holy Land, the two find themselves first in conflict with and then teaming up with, the Biblical hero Samson.
Directed in Italy by Pietro Francisci, and starring strongmen, Kirk Morris as Hercules, Richard Lloyd as Samson and played sort of for comedy relief, Enzo Cerusico as Ulysses, this 1965 "classic" puts the great heroes up against entire armies of Philistines.
Loud, overblown, sort of blasphemous, and as good as anything Steve Reeves ever did, Hercules, Samson and Ulysses is a must see for any fan of good "bad" cinema.
