I have a bad habit of being about 10 years behind everyone else in discovering "new" music, so it was around 2002 before I ever really gave a listen to The Pixies, one of the great bands from about 10 years before.
I quickly became a fan of Frank Black, the bands lead singer and major songwriter, but still, it wasn't until his 2006 album Honeycomb that I truly came to admire just how fine a songwriter the man actually is.
Which brings us to this lovely live version of his song, I Burn Today, with back up from Moris Tepper taken from the Henry Rollins Show....
