My daughter Sarah got me an incredibly cool gift for Christmas last year. It’s the Disney DVD collection of their old Tomorrowland episodes from the 1950’s and early 1960’s.
These are some really neat films about what the upcoming space race was going to be like and how the future would look after we all got our jest packs and rocket cars.
Oh sure some of it is complete fantasy, but other parts are incredibly accurate guesses about how the future would turn out. And all of it is accompanied by great Disney animation and narration by Dr. Wernher von Braun.
I’m in complete geek heaven with this wonderful collection about the future that could have been.
